We love decathlon and always stop off when we go through France.  Like Val it's about the only place I can get OH to shop!

Their t-shirts. trousers and fleeces are fantastic value, I also bought a couple of pairs of walking shoes/boots a month ago - one their own brand and one Salamon and they were really good value.   They also do very good value rucksacks and bags. 

the prices in England seem higher, if you cross the channel it's worth holding out for a French store.

Decathlon is great, we go to the Thurrock one and we bought our tent there and a few other of our camping bits and bobs.

I just bought the 3 Second pop up tent. Wow. A bit dodgy folding it first couple of times, but ffigured it out. As quick to pull down as pop up. EASY. Even bought a waterproof coat and a flatback camping stove from them. Prices very reasonable. Off to Ashbourne in the peak district next weekend, cant wait. Can now move from campsite to campsite with ease, no more uming and arring over the hassle of pitching up tent..........!
