I don't know of anywhere near you as am in Leeds but just to make you aware (if you weren't already) that they are selling out quickly. Our local camping shop has replaced them with a sunncamp lookalike - I guess because they've sold their stock, I know they were only getting one delivery in May and one in June and back in May half of it was sold before it had arrived!
Hope you get to see one though. We've bought one and are trying to out next weekend- very exciting.
Yeah we couldent look at one either so we ordered one on blind faith after seeing all our other choices and ruling them out.... Mid June is when we are supposed to be getting it... fingers crossed....as The nebraska XL seems like golddust to get hold of...
------------- Its not the size of the tent...its how you pitch it..
Just got back from 1st trip in Nebraska XL and I can honestly say we're over the moon with it...if you think it's the tent for you just order it and trust your feelings.
We 'upgraded' from a Diablo 600 this year , which was a great tent, but the Nebraska improves on it in so many ways for us...bigger bedrooms, bigger lighter living area, more ventilation, massive porch etc etc.
If your budget can stretch to it the front canopy for the Montana 4 fits exactly and shades the porch from the sun and makes a lovely area to sit under...looks pretty cool too.
I've updated my profile pictures if you're interested.
We went to look at the XL and ended up buying the XXL. It`s more or less the same as the XL except it has three fully seperate bedrooms, the largest of which is at the back of the tent. From above it is basically a giant cross. It`s very spacious, plenty of room to spread out in, especially as there are only 4 of us and we totally love it.
The biggest bedroom took a queen size airbed with ease and plenty of room to store your stuff etc at the bottome of the bed. There was even room to stand and dress at the side of the bed. The other two bedrooms took double mattresses easily, also with plenty of room to store your gear.
We had a few people come to look round the tent and all of them went away impressed and I would say slightly envious. It went up easily and all in one, no messing about hanging up the bedrooms once the main tent was up. It is totally a dream tent.
We looked at the Nebraska XL yesterday at Caseys in Cheshire.
While we liked the tent, and it seemed to have lots of space, we decided that we liked the Indiana 8 better because the space was better and also we found that the Nebraska felt a lot hotter than the temperature in the Indiana. We wondered if this was due to position/different number of vents open/something else, but we couldn't see any obvious reason for it. Perhaps a difference between having a SIG (Neb) and a Bathtub groundsheet (Indi)?
It was a sunny day and both tents had been in the sun for a similar amount of time.
Anyhow, don't know if that helps at all. If you like it warm it obviously won't be a problem.
It is a lovely tent...we really considered it when we changed from our Diablo 600.
Great pictures Daddyjohn!
It wasnt the one for us in the end...but it still is a great looking tent...so dont dither, grab it now while there are still some stocks left in the UK...you will regret it if you dont!
Yeah Daddyjohn those are great pics and ingenious work with the canopy.... it just makes the XL all the more appealing.....im itching to get hold of ours.....

daddyjohn - fab pictures - making me very excited as we're off for our first trip this weekend. I'd never thought of the canopy but it looks great (when there's enough room for it).
