We now have our new Monty 6 and are having a virgin run this weekend. Never having camped before it's sooo exciting (ergo, I just had to tell someone). We have got everything but the kitchen sink (lol) but would never have made it without all the advice I have read on this site...I hope if there's anyone here going to the Flower Of May this weekend they will come around with their camp chairs and a beer to have a laugh at us putting the tent up (why not?! my family did the same...) Trust me, you won't be able to miss us!
It's a small campsite just outside of Scarborough, Lebberston Cliff I think just next to Cayton Bay, been there in caravan, hired a static, tenting this year but we go every year for the great facilities and great evening entertainment for the kids (Magic Mike no less!) There's about 4 sites dotted around the area now, it's modernised and well looked after. Been going there for 4 years - for a campsite with entertainment it's quiet at night, never tented there though - will post review when I get home if we haven't took off in the wind before that.....
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
