Hi all,
Does anyone have any advice/experience of dogs' claws and damage to SIGs? We have an Aspen 700 and a 14 week old puppy and are planning our first weekend away combining the two! Is our SIG likely to survive we wonder?
All contributions gratefully received!

I doubt it - I would take another groundsheet to put on top of the SIG. Or a bit of old carpet (Don't know how big your tent is)
You could always take a little tent for the dog

Put some Eco-Mat or softex down. It packs up reasonably small but provides very good protection. Not the cheapest of things though but makes it feel like carpet as well.------------- Steve

clipping the nails will help immensely, but be mindful of the mesh screens used inside tents, if the pooch jumps up on them they tend to rip and ladder like tights !
