Hi
I think grass friendly is normally the more expensive breathable groundsheets.  I would be suprised if the one supplied with your tent is grass friendly as they are normally purchased individually.
I have a sewn in groundsheet and to go to some sites on certain pitches I would require a breathable groundsheet to go under my tent.
I expect someone else will give you a better explanation later.

.........

Hi

try doing a search for breathable groundsheet, and select tent forum, you'll see it's been discussed before
