Off to pooley Bridge with new tent, just arrived today, it's all there so we are off, kids are pretty excited but they dont have a clue that I cant put tents up very well.
If anyones at Pooley Bridge (Parkfoot) look out for a bloke with a big tent and a Blue Bora, it will probably still be dark when the tents actually up!!!
Get the kids to help you by selling the idea to them... one of mine loves wielding a mallet!
Most people are happy to help but don't like to be pushy so forget your British reserve and ask people to hold a pole or something. If they're like me they'll stay and do the whole thing with you then share a beer. Enjoy yourselves.
