I think the only difference is the dividing bedroom wall that can be rolled up in the 2005 is fastened in the 2006 model giving you less configuration choice. I could be wrong, I often am just don't tell OH I just admitted that.
hello i can help you here ive got the 2005 model and my friends got 2006 model , there's only slight changes which are air vents top back corners and the pole take apart at the joints. plus differnat colour scheme blue on light and light blue on blue hope that helps i would have the 2005 model anyday ,

the aspen with the side door in the tunnel is the dlx model and comes in both 500 and 700 range the standard aspen does not have the extension in between th door and the main SIG hope this clears this up happy trails
