I was up at the Wokingham camping show yesterday and seeing the marvelous looking Sunncamp Evolution 600 - the "space ship" - was wondering what happened about the leaking a few posted on?

Did it get sorted? was it a fundermental flaw in the desing? if so, shame.

i really like the look of this tent. Hoping to talk oh into one when we upgrade, so hope it's not a major problem.

It would be great if any owners of the evolution 400 or 600 could report their experiences.  There were reports earlier in the year of bad problems with leaking. 

Does anyone still have this tent?  Any good experiences in the rain?

I am also interested in whether owners think this tent would be easy to pitch on your own.

Hi actually wrote to Sunncamp because my fella wants one of these and I was concerned about leaky reports.

I specifically asked about leaks and they said that they will be having an updated design for 2007 to account for these reported problems, however, they have only had problems in a small number of cases.

I did however see on in the flesh and it wasnt as stunning as I had hoped - im wondering if it was badly pitched !

So Ingers..........are you going to go for it or not??????

We are dying to buy none but dont know whether to chance it or not..........need it for 19th July or thereabouts so will have to make up our minds NOW!!!!!!!!

Just an update...............we've done it!!!!!

Decided to go for the Sunncamp Evolution 400 and have ordered it tonight so............fingers crossed  Will be using it next week sometime so "watch this space".

Nope, decided to wait till next year when they have addressed the leaky problem and have another look then. I hate having to return anything and would be V V annoyed if it sprang a leak !
