Last August we decided to have a go at camping with our three children (7, 5 & 3) for the first time.  OH and I used to camp with our parents when we were younger. Decided to buy a tent from Aldi (seemed like a decent tent for the £50).  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the week's camping, however, tent leaked and had to go back to the shop.  The kids have been bugging us ever since to go again.

Bought a Vancouver 10 from Freedom Trail (Slumbalux) in June and have used it once so far.  Could not be happier with the tent and it was well and truly tested at Cruachan Farm, Perthshire (heavy downpours and strong winds for a full day while we were there).  Cannot wait to go away again in two weeks time.  Going back to Perthshire (trying a different site) as we have family up there..

Glad to hear you all enjoyed it so much. I had the vancouver 10 a couple of years ago. it's great value tent.did you get the tip about putting a £6 tarpaulin from b&q under the groundsheet to keep it all clean for packing up? Much easier. Hope the weathers better for your next time out. .
