just spotted one of these for sale £95 in local paper ,any opinions on them currently have large dome (6 berth)for me, oh plus 15 year old and small dog.

Nice tent Mark, and a good price too.  I assume they wouldn't mind you going to view the tent, just to make sure the zips work and no tears in the canvas.

Canvas frame tents tend to last 20-30 years, so if the style suits your family then go for it. It will take less time to erect than your dome tent and will feel much more secure in stormy weather
