We're off next weekend with the new tent to Newquay.  I opened the bag, hoping to read through the instructions, and look at the pictures -

OH NO  - no pictures to follow.

I read through the instructions, sewn into the bag, and it's now as clear as mud!!!

Will I manage without diagrams, or do you need a degree in tent-speak to follow instructions?

Does anybody have last year's model, that might have similar, but with pictures?  Or better still, would I be able to get diagrams from anywhere?

I'm getting nervous thinking about it - especially when the earlier campers set out their fold-up chairs to watch me and OH, get the flasks out and stare!!!!

We pot ours up last weekend for the first time.

Just take your time and you will be OK.

You can print a set of instructions off from the Vango Web-site which I put into a plastic cover and found easier than looking at those attached to the bag (you can pass it to OH when they don't believe/understand what you just read out!) Beware though there are two extra diagrams about pegging out on the ones in the bag which we didn't notice and would have helped.

You'll be fine - just count how many people walk pass and say "Wow Isn't it big!"    We lost count.

We have just bought a diablo 900 and are lookin for a campsite, did you get a pitch big enough or have any probs finding one?

We keep getting asked overall size of tent and don't know it, do you??????

We have booked at Flower of May in Filey and slightly worried that we won't get our diablo 900 on, there sizes are 6mx6m was hoping to pitch it without porch up, what you reakon?
