2006 Montana owners...does your groundsheet lift around the area of the rainsaver porch ? Ours does, despite various attempts to solve it. Outwell told me that its the poles pulling out when the porch pole is inserted. The suggested pegging the bottom of the poles to stop them pulling when the porch pole goes in, but this makes no difference. Anybody else noticed this ?

Pitched ours for the first time last weekend, the ground sheet was very taught (therefore not touching the ground) around the rainsaver porch. I just assumed that it was due to my inexperience in pitching it. Did try slacking of the straps, but the groundsheet went from being taught to being loose! Was planing to have a muck around with it when we go for 2 weeks. But any advise would be appreciated.

Check to make sure that the bottom of the porch is not connected to the ring and pin system. A lot of the Montanas came with webbing connected to the rings for the poles either side of the porch. Earlier in the year Outwell recommended that you either disconnect or cut ( will not void warranty ) this webbing. This releases the pressure on the bottom of the porch.
