Hi everyone.
Does anyone know of a cheaper place then Yeomans for the Hartford XXL at £299.95 incl free delivery?

I've searched online but think this is the best price.

It will be our first tent!!
I'm 6'6" and didn't think I'd find a tent that's big enough for me!

Thanks all!

I just did a quick search and best I could find was £299.99 free p&p from Complete outdoors and £329.99 from outdoormegastore.

Why not give outdoor megastore a ring as they claim they will price match. You may get it a bit cheaper than Yeomans

Do you need 4 rooms as the XL has 3 rooms & they are slightly longer for you to lie in,also you dont lose the space near the door for storing things or the windows, because the XXL has an extra room the sides of the living area are taken up with the pod entrances but on the XL there are 2 large windows.  A bit rambling but I know what I mean.

How do you loose space when the XXL has an extra room which is handy for storing things to get them out of the main part of the tent ??  The exact reason I bought an XXL rather than an XL

This one is on e bay at the moment and looks like it is the better 2005 model rather than the so called improved downgraded spec for 2006.

Like I said ,it was a bit rambling but you do lose "wall space" to put a table or some thing where the windows are in the XL as the 3rd pod is at the back ,on the XXL there are 2 on each side. Anyway its a personal thing & the pods ARE bigger on the XL so a 6ft plus can stretch out.

There was a brand new one on Ebay today for 'Buy it now' for £200!!!
I rang the wife to transfer some money back into my 'Paypal' account.
During this time, the tent got sold!!
Looks like I'll be spending £300 at Yeomans on Saturday on 2006 mondel.

Hi Chris

Just read your post about the £200 Hartford XXl on EBay.  Guilty!  I bought it.  Sat staring at the price for a while and wondered if the seller had got the model wrong.
