After the last MASSIVE blacks thread..............I just wonder how many of the unlucky ones who didn't get the montys they wanted have actually recieved the vouchers yet.

I was 1 of the lucky ones...........got mine locally at show.............I still got the e-mail though saying they were gonna send vouchers out................I obviously didn't ring to say I wanted the vouchers coz I had the tent.........................just wondering if they might make another mega botch up and send me the vouchers as well!!!!

The article below is taken from the business pages of the Scotsman. I particularly like the final paragraph


BLACKS Leisure, the outdoors specialist retail chain, has blamed the World Cup and the lack of a Glastonbury Festival for a "disappointing" sales performance.

The group said like-for-like sales were down 1 per cent over the past 20 weeks, and warned half-year profits were expected to be below last year's level, when the Millets owner achieved a figure of £6.9 million. The shares fell 10.9 per cent to 490p.
The company said it expected a post-World Cup boost to business during the rest of the camping and hiking season. "However, we now expect the profit result for the first half to be below that of last year," it added.

Blacks said it believed the second half of the year would benefit from the continued rollout of exclusive products, as well as improved availability as a result of a new warehouse and improved operational efficiency.

If you have nt had tem yet then I would advise phoning them , although some are being posted out today , so  some may get them in the morning  hopefully

I was told that it was going to be at least 10  to 14 days before they were sending mine  out ,

Well you can imagine I was not happy with this as they stated on the email that they would be sent out on the 17 th, I then contacted Douglas who  gave me the impression my order hadnt even been looked at yet  I politely told him that I needed these vouchers to use while we were still experiencing this lovely weather , He then  said  that they would be sent out to me on Thursday  and I would be getting them Friday

Well you can imagine my surprise yesterday  morning when  the postman knocked the door with the £100  Blacks vouchers

i received mine on monday but i ordered the diablo 900,went to our local millets but they dont have much instock to use them

We got our vouchers on the 18th. Havent been to blacks/millets to spend them yet. We ordered the diablo 9 which we bought from another shop as soon as blacks started messing around, because we are new campers still have lots of equipment we need to buy so the vouchers will come in very handy, im happy with the outcome
