I was thinking of buying one of these tents. Can anyone tell me of any experience they have had of them, and also maybe a good place to get one from, price wise. One of the reasons i was considering them was because they are so easy to put up,which is what i need,as will be doing it on my own.

Hi Mandy,

We bought Khyam Rigidome Classic xl at Easter and have used it nearly every weekend since.  It is much easier to put up than our last tent and lots quicker to get the tent itselt up.  However you still have to do the pegging out and of course that just always is going to take the same sort or time whatever tent you get.  If it's not windy it's no problem to do it on your own.  However, we had to put it up and down in strong winds once and that is impossible if you on own unless you fancy a paraglilding trip!

We like our tent but on the downside I don't think the new model has enough ventilation as the back door does not have a mesh option so the only mesh is the front door and the little flaps in the bedrooms.  When it's hot it can be a bit overbearing.

Good luck in choosing!
