Just got our trispace polycotton and decided to put it up in the garden to see how it goes up.  What are the rings at the base of the tent for?  There a 4 stretchy rings are they for tent pegs?  Also did you get a rapair kit with yours? 

Also bought the canopy, are you charged extra for that on campsites?  It will only be put up in really hot weather.

Another question, but not related to tripspace, how much room to you leave between pitches?  We are going to a site where if is free camping, how do you know where to camp?  or that a stupid question.

When you get to the site you could ask the owners or look at the space between all the other tents and judge it from that.
