Can anyone help - I have 4 small children twins of 5, a 3yr old and a 1yr old and we need to buy a bigger tent. Obviously with small children living space is very important. I have been looking onlline and seen the Vango Colorado 800DLX  and Vango Vail 700.  Both take my fancy, just wondered what other thought

We looked at both these models. Chose the Vail in the end because there seemed more available wall space. To cut a long story short we actually had to return the tent because of leaks (most unusual for Vango who are a reliable manufacturer). We have chosen not to replace it. I really liked the tent when up, living space was excellent but for us it was too heavy and unwieldy and too much work for a weekend camp. Also unsure about window canopies, just collected rain in our experience. Pack size v big as well. This is not intended to put you off just some things to think about before you purchase.
Spent this weekend back in the showrooms and on the internet and have now bought a Khyam Colorado. Ticks all our boxes (family of 5). Living space is at least as big as Vail, really pleased with it. Can't comment on the Vango Colorado except to say that I prefer the bedroom arrangement of a tunnel tent. Might be worth a look at the Khyam. Saved a few pounds too.
Would be interested to know what you end up with.
