Why oh why does it have to rain in July??

It can't rain, it musn't were going on our hols on Monday to Cornwall (it can rain in the night when the tent is pitched)!!

Unfortunately it is also raining this minute down in Torquay, I do feel for anyone pitching today, it is not nice putting your gear up in the rain....

But hopefully it wont take too long to dry out as it is still warm.....

Waterproof trousers as well as jacket are a godsend!  You can pitch a tent in them,  play frisbee in them,  build sandcastles in them, etc., etc......   Unfortunately you cannot sunbathe in them.  

We have been threatened rain every day since Tuesday, but we have not had a drop.  (the kids and I have been sleeping in the tent in the garden to keep cool).   Although it is the most overcast I have seen it today.  We too are off on our jollies on Monday, we are going to Anglesey.  On the weather report it has a cloud over it constantly..........................

Just one good thing about the rain though,   it is perfect for sitting in your tent with a bottle of wine or two.... and a few games.

Hope for us all, it rains out this weekend, and the sun comes out again on Monday!!  (fingers crossed)

Like you say Lizzz, lets hope it rains out this weekend, I'd even do some sort of sunshine ritual dance if it makes it sunny!! LOL
