Hi lols

Welcome to ukcs.

It certainly looks a good enough make.

As you are probably aware the market on tents is huge.

If it fits your requirements go for it.

Remember always buy bigger if you can, space is a premium, and if it says 5 birth it usually means 3 or 4 with comfort.

All the best

I just received one of these from world of camping yesterday (good service, by the way, promt delivery with reasonable off shore rates). I erected the tent in the back garden yesterday and I have to say it looks like a fine tent for the amount of money paid. There is plenty of space in the sleeping area, and the universal concept for the inner tent suits us just fine. The porch/ living area is also a great size. There is as much room here as there is in our frame tent with less than half the bulk/ weight.

It has rained all day yesterday and today, and the wind is also very high here today. Although I hadn't fully pegged or guyed the tent it has stood the test of both. I look forward to many happy days camping in this tent.

A couple of negative points. The tent is described as having a pre-attached inner. Why does it come from the factory separate. The packed size is also larger than quoted on the website (although still very manageable). The groundsheet is described as detachable. For the life of me I cannot find anything to attach it to.

All in all, I am happy with this tent. There will be 3 of us staying in it, but to be honest 5 would not be a problem for a weekend break.

We have bought the Oregon 3 as a weekender tent & are very pleased with it, it is easy to erect & the first time we used it it stood up to wind & rain with no problem. Just make sure that you guy it properly.

I'm considering on of these for a weekend tent. How easy was it to put up? Was it struggle in the wind?

A couple of negative points. The tent is described as having a pre-attached inner. Why does it come from the factory separate.

Presumably it needs to be detachable, so you can pack the inner seperately if the outer tent is wet or damp. Otherwise it would be a recipe for mould.

The packed size is also larger than quoted on the website (although still very manageable).

The small pack size is one of the reasons I was considering this tent. How big is it in reality?

hi my oregan 5 came with the pods attached inside, dead easy to put up. the bag is about the size of a large sports bag easy to carry and it has straps on the outside to pull it in to make it smaller, it went back in the bag no problem. its a great tent by the way very spacious.

just an happy camper
