hiya!
i am thinking of buying a car tent/awning to use for short one or two night stop overs. we have a vango vista 800 which is brilliant for longer stays but too much hassle to put up for short stays. i have seen this..
but there was no price on the web, it says it is for campervans but it looks like it would fit our previa?
we are a family of 5, the car would sleep the 3 kids oh and me would need to sleep in tent/awning. it also needs to be free standing so we can leave it pitched while we use the car.
has anyone seen any others or used one? any info at all would be great!
thanx guys

yes it does look good doesnt it? there are some on ebay, but they dont look very comfy, i want somewhere to get changed, sleep and sit if it rains. i thought something like this with a windbreak would be ideal. as i said there was no price on this site, it just gave links to nearest dealers ect. im abit busy at mo, but might ring round a few tomorrow i will let you know any details i find out.

saw a camper van with tent on side at weekend kids thought it was well cool lol, but what impressed them even more was the land rover type car with a tent on it's roof... complete with ladder going over bonnet to gain access.. all four kids wanted one LOL

Button and Jo
what about this site? tho don't know if it would be big enough for a family of five??
www.loftyshelters.com
this was similar to the one we saw last weekend, jst that the ladder came over the bonnet not the side
haven't found a UK based company tho.
