Tomorrow we go camping for a week, and find out if we are clever or stupid, because we are taking our new Fiat Panda. No problem you might think but this is the list of thing's we are taking:
Khyam xxl classic, ground sheet's, table with fixed chairs, fold out table, airbed's x 4,sleeping bag's x 5, pillow's, coleman dual fuel stove, gas stove, clothe's for 5 people, 2 folding chair's, cool box, windbreak, rechargable lights, saucepan's and utensils, water carrier, baseball bat and ball game's for the kid's, and lot's more I have probably forgotten.
We are cheating slightly as we have a small trailer, but this little car is going to be earning it's keep tomorrow.
ooop's forgot the main ingredient.... Beer and Wine....
I thought we were bad loading the Jeep to the rafters, but at least we've got 4.0L of pure American gas guzzlin iron draggin us along, oh but we've got 4 bikes strapped to the back too, and more gear by the looks of it. Damn, looks like we'll have to leave the Swingball at home lol
Years ago we used to load our metro up, trailer & roof-rack too and had some fantastic times so I wouldn't worry about it, just stick to the speed limits & drive safely.
I thought 3 folks in a polo was a tight squeeze. but 5 you will be glad to get there so you can breathe!!!!! Have a great time. at least the tent is big enough to use as a garage for the Panda and you could sleep in the car !!!!
we used to struggle putting all that in a picasso if its anything like our house on a camping morning then there will be lots of swearing at all the stuff at the car at the dog and normally at me and why do we have to take all this with us.
You should see us when we arrive on site in my Capri! The only window you can see out is the front. It doesn't matter what the campsite looks like, its just such a relief to get out of the car.
The worst is yet to come.......the return journey is usually worse, because you've got all the stuff that you bought whilst on holiday, to fit in somewhere.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
