Hi we have a vango 600 which we use for main holl, but wanted something for just the odd weekend that we could erect quicker, ended up dropping on the Sunncamp Vario 6 (2005) at a real bargain price not that much smaller but we like the style and it is a bit easier to erect. Could anybody that as put these tents up a few times give me a few tips like which it is best to start at front or back etc.
I have both the vario 6 and the newer Vario 400 so have tried several different ways to put them up. The most succesful we have just found is to peg out the back of the tent, then feed all the poles through starting at the back, as you get to the front arc pull the tent up from the front, then peg out the front guy ropes so that the tent is free standing and you can then go inside put up the expanding poles and peg out the rest of the tent.
There are other ways, its just finding which way your find easiest.
we are looking for a quick weekend tent as our vango vista 8 takes so long and is huge. we have 3 small children, so the tent cant be too little, ive just found this (in the sales at mo too)... it says its quick to pitch and looks like it will go up in 15 mins
