Hi there, we tried to get our new tent up in the wind and rain this weekend. It took so long the weather got much worse and in the process has ripped an anchor point and one of the tension straps. Does anyone know what recourse we have for this, if any. Also, how effective are repairs to a tent and who should we get to do it.

I doubt you`ll have any recourse if the damage was due to the wind getting up. It`s not the tent`s fault, or due to a manufacturing fault after all.

However Vango are well known for their better than average customer care, so it might be worth getting in touch with them. And they can arrange a repair for you as well.
