Hi all this is my first post and we are off camping on Friday in our new monty 6 and taking the kids which ive never done because i always think it will be to boring saying that ive only ever been twice and only for weekends at a time we have chose Southport.
So please fellow campers give me advice on keeping myself sane ill be fine at night with the use of wine its just during the day.
take plenty of stuff to entertain the kids, football, badminton, board games and magazines and dont forget your kettle to put you on until you open your wine!!
One quick tip with your Monty - if there is a chance of rain also keep the flysheets/mesh zipped on the doors. The outside doorcover does not come down far enough, in my opinion, and it is the mesh that keeps the hole taught - so if the mesh is not zipped down, the bottom lip with a good wind can flex and start to let in water (the outer door zips just do down the side, there is only a few piece of velcro to keep the bottom of the door in place).
