Hi All,

We are about to venture out on our first camping trip and are stocking up on all the required kit! We've been to a few camping shops and are undecided between the Outwell Sun Valley 8 or the Aspen 700. I have 2 large dogs and a 6'4" husband!

Which would you recommend?

Any help and advice on this and other bits and bobs would be really helpful

They are both good and well respected tents - you can't go far wrong with either. The SV pitches outer-first, which is good if it is raining; however, I would not let that put me off an Aspen, if it was I wanted.

Not really bothered about inner or outer first - outer first might more more practical in this country :-) but we are thinking of taking it abroad as well, so its not a major factore.

Sewn in ground sheet is a must though...
