We were at ullswater this last week and used the outwell side canopy on our campus yale with no problems. It was very wet and windy. We keep the camp kitchen and 3 way in there and as long as your pitched so the wind doesnt blow into it, its a great bit of kit. We actually sat in the porch most nights when it was raining. Very handy for stoking the kettle into gear for multiple cups of tea. Perhaps we should make a thread for camopy owners on non outwell tents. I must admit i was a bit apprehensive as to how well it would fit going that far from home, but now we love the thing. Very very useful piece of kit.
