Is it me, or would this annoy you?

I recently brought a sleeping bag and 20 rock pegs (not all for me!) on line from outdoorshop.com.  Got the order acknowledgement confirming everything, and when the order arrived there were only 11 pegs, with a note saying they were out of stock and they'd only charge me for 11.  Fair enough they didn't charge me, however if I'd known at the time that they couldn't complete the order I'd have postponed it until they could dispatch the full amount (Amazon asks you these questions!). So now I've got to find the other 9 pegs and pay another delivery charge.

I emailed them and within five minutes I got a reply with an updated order acknowledgement and no answer to my disappointment with their service.

okay, rant over.  Anybody else had this problem with them?

I'd expect the others to be dispatched as soon as they are in stock with no extra postage charge or you should have been given the chance to cancel the whole order.

I agree with Jan P - I have bought things before and not been charged the postage when the remaining items have been delivered.  What don't you send an e-mail and suggest this to them?

I sent an email with my concerns the day after I got the delivery suggesting the very thing.  Economically, to save a second postage FOC, they should have informed me that they couldn't send a completed order and given me the choice.  At the time I did threaten psoting the problem with the might of this website.  I've had no reply.
