We are thinking about getting a montana 12 and have been looking at the new ones with the porch, but have seen one of the earlier ones for sale but it doesnt have the porch. Its only been used a couple of times and I was thinking that if we get it cheap enough we could then buy one of the seperate canopy things to use as a porch.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I saw that PJ camping has it for £319 at the moment.  And you can get the canopy from them as well for £52.

We have an outwell canopy for our tent and it's fab.  I can stand under it and do the cooking even if it's raining.

We have a 2006 Monty 12 plus canopy and would prefer no porch as the canopy is better for weather protection etc.

Thanks for the replies. The tent we've seen is on ebay and its currently at £46, but has 7 days left to go, will keep and eye on it and see what happens.
