Can anyone suggest anywhere that has a large (ish) display of tents? Looking at pictures is one thing but I'd like to see a tent up before we buy it. We are in South Wales but are happy to drive if anyone can recommend anywhere.

I think you might be a bit late bugbug, I think a lot of the retailers are taking their displays down for the winter.

Places that I've been to over the summer:

Highbridge camping and caravans, just off M5 Southbound at Highbridge

Taunton Leisure - temporary display at Garden centre at Highbridge

Taunton Caravans and Camping on A38 at Taunton.

I think that Attolls at Gloucester have a big display but I've not been there.

You'd be wise to ring the retailers and see if there is anything still up to see.

ABC Camping in Swansea always have tents displayed, not always the happiest of owners but you can see the tents and then surf the net for the best prices.

Yes, both Attwoolls and ABC would be good bets as they have indoor display. ABC would have more tents for you to look at. MT

there is a good camping shop in newport.s.wales,,shows tents, bought alot of things there as i have only just started camping this year .

Try Raglan Garden Centre. We bought our sunvalley 6 from there this summer, and they had an excellent selection.I think their displays should still be up for the next few weeks.
