I saw a thread on here abit ago, but can't remember what it was called so can't search for it. Somebody said about clips that you can buy that attach to your tent fabric and then you attach guy ropes to the clips.
I've ordered the Coleman canopy but then read the review of it that valkscot put on here. It seems there aren't enough guys on it to prevent it becoming a large kite in high winds. Hence my need for extra guys.
Thought you guys (ha ha) might be able to help....please....

I'm not a complete idiot...some bits are missing.
I found some interesting looking things the other day - think they were called 'holdons'. Just had a quick look again and found some similar looking ones called 'clingons'.
Will check on main pc tomorrow (on laptop now) and see if I can post link - think I put site on my favouites.
What am i hearing " Holdons.Clingons, gripclip " I am still trying to get my head round " Holdups" wink, wink, hahaha, gone are the days of the good old suspenders, I remember from my mispent youth you could hold anything with a good suspender belt hahaha.
Joking apart (steve!!), a 'suspender' type fixing would probably work on light weight tent fabrics I would think. Not a good idea to be raiding wifes underwear draw without asking though!!
Let us know what you reckon to the Canopy, and if you could do a review as well etc that would be great. I am looking to get one for next year to avoid rain drip, and have never seen one up, or can figure how it fits together.
Lake district trip in a couple of weeks for 8 nights so that should give us a pretty good idea of how the canopy stands up to the weather. So yes , I'll do a review of it and the clips.
No rain dances etc from anybody please. Haven't had decent weather since May and this will be our 5th trip since then!

"Clingons" are what Captain kirk found on the starboard bow, cos they kept saying "scrap em off jim" haha.
Sue, my wife is disabled, she has some good days, and some bad days, on the bad days is when I have to do the washing and go peg it out on the line, and thats about as near as I get to her underwear these days hahaha.
By the way how many women have these sets of underwear with the days of the week on em???, I thought these were just for the Blonde Freternitiy hahaha. (Steve now ducks down behind the popup washbasket to try and avoid the flak from the Blonde Freternitiy Section) Please, please be gentle with me.hahaha.
