Well folks, its d day for the leak test tomorrow,getting the hose pipe out to see if we have a leaker or not!

Think the wife may be cross if we have, there goes my cosy weekend!

Hi Folks

Would you believe it. Couldn't sleep friday night,like a kid waking up on christmas day! and all because of a tent! (aint it great)

Anyway, we pitched up in parents garden,ours couldnt take it. sun was shining,we cut our ground sheet in to the shape of the tent, to save the sig,tip we learnt on here.

Had a beer in one hand and the hose in the other,so to speak! and let rip with my parents water bill. wife inside,kids eating grandmas hot cross buns.

after an hour or so,NO LEAKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

could we be one of the lucky ones. i think so,hope so.

we kept waiting but no leaks, as much as i sprayed,so to speak,we couldnt get that thig to leak. YE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

we tested the oaklahoma day tent aswell just to make sure,and both seemed fine. i cant tell you how happy i was last night. by the time we got home,un packed the trailer,tent upstairs in the newly cleared tent cupboard,i had no choice but to hit the new box of stella parents had brought back from sunny france. this is why iam up early this morning,bit of a head ache!

Anyway now i can look forward to next years holidays without worry.

i will be relaxing today doing a bbq for 12,as is wifes 40th,may finish off that beer,as mother in law staying the night! have to park her broom stick out the back,dont want to lower the tone now!

also thanks langleys, didnt really think of that situation,we will check tent over the corse of use. if it does start to go will contact outwell and let the wife shout at them!
