Went to Go-Outdoors today to have yet another look at the Oklahoma day tent. While it matches my Monty 6 and looks well made and sturdy, it just doesnt look as big as our deceased gazebo mainly because of the sides that slope in quickly towards the roof. I am now back to square 1 and am considering either the Oklahoma, the Royal Standard Dayroom or the Royal large Dayroom.

There are only 6 of us when we go away but we sometimes meet up with my brother and his family which would make it 10 of us. I am therefore looking for some advise from those who might have used any of the above.

We bought a royal dayroom this summer. We have used it twice both times it endured heavy rain and very strong winds. We were dead pleased with it.We set up our kitchen in it,excellent as plenty of headroom.we had 2 chairs and a table and still had plenty of room.it was far more pleasant sitting in it than in the tent(our tent does not have windows.)

Hi Nigel

I have recently purchased an Oklahoma day tent and understand exactly what you are saying, the tent itself is superb but there is that slight feeling of crampness and we are a family of four.

It is suitable for our needs which is a table, four chairs and a few other bits and bobs, I would personally say it might be a wee bit on the tight side with six in there.

I was also looking at the royal but that was a little on the large side for us.

Hope this helps

Andy
