my sister is looking at buying one of these £220 second hand(has only been used once) is that a good price are they easy to put up any advice good or bad thanks
I've had and have Sunncamps and they are nice tents.
Presumably she realises this is a BIG tent? It's worth having a look at the sites that take big tents thread in the UK Camping forum and if she's got any sites in mind that she especially wants to go to it would be worth her checking that they will take the tent (pitch sizes vary but probably average around 10m x 10m - need to allow a metre each way for guys plus usually space for a car and sitting space)
I'm not sure it's a great price - if you google they are easily available for £289. Personally if I was buying second hand I'd expect more of a discount than she's getting, but if she's happy with it...
It would be at least a 2 man job to put up - we had a Magnum 9XP and found it a pig to pitch but there are others that say they find these straightward to pitch.
