HELLO ,WE HAVE BOUGHT A WYNNESTER 6 BERTH BRECON TENT (LAST YEARS MODEL ) FROM A CAMP SHOW IN THE SPRING 06 cost £130 .USE IT 3 TIMES SO FAR FOR ME AND THE WIFE AND OUR LITTLE BOY.CRACKING TENT WITH PLENTY OF STORAGE SPACE BUT IT DOES TAKE ALONG TIME TO PUT UP AND PUT AWAY AGAIN.IS THIS NORMAL OR ARE WE DOING SOMETHING WRONG??? ALSO ANYONE ELSE BOUGHT ONE OFTHESE .WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR VIEWS.

about 1hour 15 min s todo everthing with tent incl guy ropes/ pegging out.abit longer putting away maybe.

Thats not too bad for a failry big dome like the Brecon.

Are the poles sometimes tough to thread through the nylon sleeves?

yes we do have trouble with these.both putting in and out.of sleeves.also we tend to struggle putting the tent back in its original bag.thanks 4 helpig c .m.

I asked, becuase I used to have a Wynnster Anglesey - a fine tent, but it had the same issue.

Use some gentle lube on the poles and they go in much better. KY, furntiyre polish or Silicon spray. Not oil, however, that may damage the nylon.

You do get better with practice. In the past we have been known to just go and buy a bigger bag, cheaper than a divorce.
