I finally got OH into a camping shop yesterday and we thought this tent was fabulous. Although I know I should be working, I've researched on-line prices today and the cheapest I found was £299.99 from Camping On Tyne. Had a look at other sites - Outdoor Megastore, Yeomans, Camperlands, Winfields, Outdoor world etc, but I haven't found a better price.
Is this the best price I am going to get do you think? I do have my eye on a last year's model, plus canopy and windbreak in ebay though. I might wait to see how high that goes.
Instead of just researching prices, it might be worth your researching the tent itself and there are lots of threads on this particular model - just use the 'search' icon at the top of this page and enter keywords, such as Montana and Outwell.
The price is good, by the way, and I've heard good things about Camping on Tyne.
We bought a 2005 model second hand from ad-mag and have had none of the problems that the 2006 model seems to present. Maybe the one on e-bay is a good move, although you have to bear in mind the potential problems of buying second hand....
Also I'd highly recommend the canopy, apart from being useful it also looks damn cool!
