Hello Hello Hello, thses tents sound absolutly beautyful. I could just see me getting my little designer hands into one of them. I want one now, how much are they secondhand, I have learnt so much about tents since joining you lot we're going to end up bankcrupt. Pen

It depends on the tent, I would have thought that the Dutch tents - DeWaard, Ransted etc. - would be rare and expensive; am guessing something in the region of £500-800 depending on age and model (any of our Dutch members care to comment?).
The Cabanon and Relum models, from what I have seen (and again they do not seem to come up for sale that often), around £200-£350.
I paid £280 for my 2 year old Cabanon Pyramide 6. Might have been a bit over the odds, but I was fixed with love, which is never a good thing when money is involved. I also was a lot happier after lengthy converations with the seller and had a high degree of confidence in buying it on only pictures.
.. and it was worth all £280.. sorry I know I keep going on (apologies).

Yes, it is very angled. You can get two chairs, a small table and a typical twin burner cooking stove inside. With the additional canopy, it would be much easier - especially as you can roll back the whole front, to give you effectively a 3m+ deep canopy (see the canopy thread for pictures).
However... personally, to me this is more suited to being a short stay tent - I am not sure I would want to spend a couple of weeks under constant rain in it. You would feel couped in. It is why I am probably going to keep the Montana 6, for its big living space.
But for long weekends, its perfect.

Liddemann was selling a brand new cabanon Gadeloupe 4 berth for 250 earlier this week, he bought the last 2. If you want more details put carbanon in the search of this site.

Have a look at our pictures of our PYRAMIDE 6 next to our VW camper it will give you an idea of size it also has the additional sun canopy on the front, we love this tent.
Great pictures of the Pyramide 6! I took delivery of my s/h one two or three weeks ago but what with one thing and the other haven't been able to give it trial pitch yet and I can't see it happening this weekend either .
I am thinking that, supplemented by our OR Outhouse kitchen tent, the Pyramide will work as a longer stay tent for the two of us.
Oh, and I do have pictures of my Noumea ready to post but can't work out how to resize them. D'oh! MT
