Hi - I was thinking of using my son's 2-man tent, but are they really awkward to put up on my own? Has anyone got any advice on making this easy? Sorry to sound a bit of a wimp!

The fact it's your son's tent means you have someone to show you how to put it up in the first place. A lot of people buy a new tent and are not sure how to put it up the first time.
Main thing is to put it several times before taking it to the campsite.
Loads of members put up "biggish" tents single-handed
My son has a Pro-Action 2 man tent as a plaything in the garden, he knows how to put it up, although he cant quite do the bending of the poles yet, and he's only 5!
So I cant see that you'll have any problems at all, how old are you?
Am in my 40s but pretty hopeless! Not sure sure what sort it is - just a regular 2-person tent. Yes will have to practice putting it up in the garden, otherwise will try looking helpless! Cheers.
