Just wondering if anyone has the VV600 and what they think of it? My only concern is that the width of the bedrooms look small (130cm), like this style of tent with 2 bedrooms at the back (or one big one with a divider) and living space at the front, so don't know whether there are any other recommendations of this style of tent for around £80??

Did you mean the 500?  If so, we have one and found it excellent for just the two of us for a weekend.  Prefer our Montana 6 for longer periods though !

Meant the 600 which has two seperate bedrooms.  But does the 500 come with a divider so you can make it into 2 rooms?

Weve got the 600dlx and that has the devide in the bedrooms.

Sorry to say though that OH has only put up the outer to check the size.

The rooms are big enough for a double airbed in each, but we didn't fancy taking it for our 5 days with the kids- just too much stuff!!!! Perfect for 2 or 3 or for a couple of nights if there's 4. The diagrame shows 6, 4 adults and 2 children.

yes the is the vango 600 which is exactly the same as the 500 apart fron being obviously bigger.  When I got my 500 I had been tempted and was going to get the 600 but I thought that it may be a little big for me to put up if it were just me and the kids.  Now they are getting bigger I would probably go for the 600 next time around! I still love my 500 though, it is still going strong!!!!  I loke the idea of the riser sheet on the 2005 modelas that would make it a tadge easier to pack away!

We have the 500 and as a weekend tent we manage with a double airbed in one side and kingsize for the kids in the other maybe as they grow this will become an issue but at the moment it hasnt been a problem brilliant tent.

Dependant upon which website you look at the VV600 DLX has bedrooms either 130cm wide or 150cm wide. I'm not sure why there is a difference and surely if they are 130cm wide then it is no bigger than our VV500. I would say that the price difference between the 600DLX and the 500 does not favour the 600.

After looking at the spec of the VV600 unless I read it wrong the 500 is actually wider ???? When I saw the post on the 600 dlx thought about maybe at that price getting another but after seeing sizes decided not to bother although price is excellent.

Vango Venture 500 - SS06

This is the 500

and this is the 600dlx

So the 600 is 5cms less hight than the 500 but 5cms longer and by the looks of it is 10cm narrower.

Not much in it really.
