Does anybody have any advice on the Outwell Side Canopy (is it suitable for cooking under?) and know anywhere selling it cheaper than £60.

I think you will find it hard to find the canopy much under £60. I have just bought one from the Camping and Kite centre at £59. Sorry dont know how good it is for cooking under but I bought it on the basis that we would be able to.

I always cook under mine. Dont know if you can see on my first profile picture but the cooker stand goes along the left hand side and fits perfect. Had to put the wind break up that trip as it was draughty. Would not be with out my canopy. PamJ

The side canopy was one of the best pieces of camping gear we have bought. We use it for cooking under and it is fantastic. £60 is about average for the canopy, have yet to see it much cheaper. You won't regret getting it.

I think the side canopy is quite generic in that it was designed to fit older Outwell tents, possibly the Colorado, but also fits the current range. In that respect I assume it will still be available next year.
