This has probably been done before, but who would you recommend to buy your camping equipment from?
I used World of Camping for our tent, I ordered it online and it arrived within two days, I had a problem with leaks and called them, a tube of seam sealer arrived the next morning.
After two trips away we discovered we had a fault which was not down to us - we thought it was at first! so we had the tent three months by this stage.
So we contacted WOC and they arranged straight away to have the tent picked up, the very next day. It took a few weeks for them to get suitable weather to try the tent, and also its their busiest time for returns - which I can believe.
So three weeks later, they also can see the fault, and have offered me a full refund, I was expecting at best a credit note! and also not a mention of the free cooker that came with the tent - so I'm now £40 up.
And I know where I shall be buying my next tent from.
Excellent customer service, a bit slow but we got a good result in the end.
A recently had a complaint about the price of an item in store. I emailed them and received a prompt email back and was offered free delivery on the item.
A couple of days later I received a letter from MD apologisingfor miss price info I was given when I first
visited the store and as a goodwill gesture they would like to give me the item to me totally free! How about that for customer service!
Have always found them very helpful and alway friendly.
