  Hi all, don't know if this will be of intrest or use to anyone but Vango are having a Sale on 2 Dec from 9am till 5pm and 3 Dec 12 pm till 4pm, at their factory in Port Glasgow

Hi Alan , which way will you come,?  If you are coming up the coast road carry straight on throught Port  Glasgow heading towards Glasgow, go straight through Newark roundabout at Fergusons to second round about at woodhall, then double back as if coming back to port, entrance is on left, if coming over the Irvine road to Paisley, head for Port Glasgow, First roundabout will be woodhall  take 2nd exit entrance on left, We wont make it both working 12 hour shifts that weekend, hope you get some joy though and bag a bargin, by the way how did the exhibit go at Greenock never got down.

know roughly where that it, went well at Greenock last weekend, show was busy and Maiden Central behaved itself. weather driving up and down was utter pants though and the 1 morning that the roads were dryish i got stuck behind an old dear that crawled up the largs to skelmorlie

actually enjoy doing greenock got a lot of good memories of working up there, the hardships of working 4 back to back 12 hour shifts at T-mobile and drinking lucozade and red bull to get you through the shift. glad I only have to go up a dozen times of a year now

  Next time your up we will have to try and meet up and go for a coffee, not as potent as lucozade and red bull I'm afraid

Don't wish I could go

went up to the sunny port today and loads of bargains, got a litchfield apache+ 3 man tent, porch at both ends and 2000mm hh for £30 not too bad only bad point is that it pitches inner 1st. and a vango 3 man cookset copper bottomed pots for a tenner.

note to self do not spend any more money on camping gear

  Hi alan glad you managed to get a bargin, we were working, heard it was stowed, one of our residents daughters went down but said it was so busy she couldn't stay this was at 10.00 hope you are ok

i got there at about 12 and it was pretty wedged with cars abandoned everywhere, there was a lot of good deals on stuff like sleeping bags if you needed them

never saw another UKCS car sticker though

doing well, just getting organised for xmas etc and working hard
