We bought a single ring gas cooker, the type that comes in a small plastic case and uses disposible gas canisters. It also came with an attachment to turn it into a heater but we took it back because the attachment would glow red hot and had no guard. We were very concerned about using it in the tent with the dog off his lead. We bought it in Woolies if you are still interested.

Hi Bules we always use our cobb ,we do our meals then put lid on it and put it under a table so it cannot be knocked over.we just light the coals,put it in the tent and go out, when you come back the tent is lovely and warm.No harm can come to tent because the coals just go out,ITS THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
