After much searching we bought a Coleman Magellan 9 in the January sale. It looks like a well specified tent with plenty of space for a family of five.  Anyone got any experience of this tent - particularly putting it up?  Can it be done by one person? Anything I need to pay particular attention to?

I am bit new to this and thought I had failed to post it the frirst time, so it may well have been - how do I remove it?

I can't remember many posting about this tent over the last year (when it was introduced) - I think we had one, may be two people at most post on it.

I don't think it was a popular tent - not becuase of faults, but becuase it was expensive when it was introduced.

I had good look at one at the Wokingham exhibition and thought is was a well equiped and quality tent, building on Coleman's excellent reputation - it was just a bit pricy for some I suspect.

So don't worry, I would say you have a fine tent.

As for ptiching it, looking at the set-up, I would bet that yes it would require two people for the some of the stages.
