Do any Vango owners have one of these Sun Canopies.
Found them on Outdoor World site - look brilliant. Kids want me to get one - bit reserved as I know that our 900 is big enough, what's it going to be like with one of these added???
Thought it may be usefull for them to play in if weather is bad rather than messing up inside of tent!!
Do they stand up to high winds, obviously if wind changes direction once pitched, it will blow into tunnel. Cross that bridge as and when.
Will anchor down with a few Delta's - that should solve wind problem.
Any opinions from anyone before I succombe to yet another piece of equipment.

There seem to be two

this one

and this one

The both look quite useful I guess but I'm not a big fan of open ended structures. I'd rather have either a "flat" sun canopy to provide shade or some kind of zipped structure that the wind doesn't whistle down.

It is a good idea though to be able to add space to the tent where there is space to do so though.

I hate to disillusion you but deltas won't stop your canopy getting ripped to shreds in the wind if the wind get's under it.

Like the Coleman I bought last year, I note these are sold as SUN CANOPIES rather than tent annexes. I can`t imagine it will stand up to much by the way of windy weather, deltas or not, like P&T says.

On the other hand I might just be influenced by the bad memories of my Coleman kite/canopy. I`d like to see one of these up, preferably over a tunnel tent like the Oregon. Either of these would be very useful for a tunnel tent with no porch.
