Smashed one of the steel uprights for our Outwell Family Dome during a freak storm last year.  It's easy enough to find the thinner, 19mm fibreglass poles, but having difficulty replacing this one.  Any suggestions?

Andy, some camping shops often have all kinds of odds n sods lying around - I know that Go Outdoors near us in Sheffield have boxes they let you rummage through when you can't find what you need. Whereabouts are you?

I don't know your tent - if it is just a steel upright that holds up the door as a proch, these are often on sale - I got a replacement from Outdoor Megastore after high winds buckled some of our poles for our canopy last August (as pictured in my profile).

Are they that easy to break then?  I have read this in a few posts.

Which bit has 'smashed'?

Outwell should be able to supply spares. Try emailing them. I have a Khyam and a Lichfield and emailed both with spares enquiries last year and got immediate responses from both companies. People on here have reported good responses from Outwell in the past.
