We are novice campers, went a couple of times in a cheap tent from ebay last year. We are now wanting to look at something a bit more long term. We need something that is a decent size as we have 3 very young children [3,13mths and 1mth at the min] so will need to be able to fit in a travel cot ,2 single beds and a double bed. Also need to have good living space in case of rain etc. We dont have a very big budget[Around £200] and also needs to be as easy as possible to put up due to keeping the children entertained....so am I setting mission impossible???
Hi nemo and welcome to UKCS. You would be best with one of the larger tunnel tents as these are the easiest to put up and can even be erected single handed. They also make good use of space, whereas dome tents are more complicated to put up and require 2 pairs of hands. The Gelert Lokon Vario 6 in this thread looks a good buy for your budget.
Yep sure you will find something; especially now, when so many of last year's tents are beign sold off in the sales.
Look through lots of the recent threads and you will see the likes of Outwell Indianna 6, Wynnster Hawk, Wild Country Halo 75 & 104, Coleman Magellan 6 & 9, Aztec Cantera 6 & 9, Vango TBS Vista & Colardo all for under £200.
The Wynnster Hawk 8 at £135 would be my bargain of the lot, with two big bedrooms and a comfy SIG. However, I always think, with small children, that side-by-side bedrooms work best, which is why the Outwell Indianna 6 would be at the top of my list to look at first.

Robens Valley Lodge & Cabanon Pyramide 6 "... kids you distract the bear, while I run to the car...."
I would highly reccomend the Outdoor Revolution VRX Scenic 6.2
We bought it last yr and have been delighted with it. It has 2 large bedroom side by side, ideal for the kids. Plenty of windows for maximum light, Fairly quick to errect, A huge living area for when the weather is bad (one of our musts before we bought it), And best of all less than £200 on this site inc delivery.
mphigham is correct - I missed the 6.2 offer off the ealrier list. Another to put to the top of your viewing list, given the bedrooms are side-by-side.

we also bought a cheap ebay tent to see how we got on, and last week pirchased an outwell indianda 6. The best thing about the bedrooms is that you can have 2 seperate or remove the dividing wall and have one large bedroom, ideal for when you have small kids in with you like we do.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
