Can anyone give reassurance???

Having spent a while deciding which tent we wanted we decided on Rigipod Excelsior. So far so good. Not much cash so went for the e-bay option. Secured the sale and have just read that the 2003 model was a nightmare that leaked! Can anyone tell me if this was a duff batch or applies to all Excelsiors manufacture in 03. Horrible feeling our limited cash has just been mis spent!!!

Thanks for any help/advice.

PS Does anyone have the DVD to show how to put it up????

Can't help with the leak problem but the Khyam website has some videos online.

Hi there!

I've read on these forums that some 2003 tents were made with the wrong size needles and thus suffered problems with leakage, though I don't know which tents the problem was specific to!

I am in a similar situation to you though in that our new RigiPod Excelsior arrived this morning and I am keen to pitch it asap to check it doesn't have any problems!

Hopefully we'll both be OK as in all other respects the RigiPods are great, and very cool tents!
