I may be wrong (I have been before, ask the wife!!!)  but I do believe that sites that mention a charge for extra units would indeed include a utility tent.  Why they do this is beyond me if your kit is within the boundaries of the pitch you have already paid for!!, sign of the times I suppose!

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a deffinate answer!  Quite a knowledgeable lot these campers!!

its very strange how some sites apply their pricing policy,

some charge for pup tents but not for awnings, so, when we had the kids with us i baught an anex for the awning, and they could bring a mate with them, as the anex is classed as part of the awning ,so no extra charge,

its a case of checking the sites out, ( best done by using the camp site search at top of page on here ) and linking to the sites own web page to find how and what they charge for.

We just bought a utility kitchen as I have three young children and a loony puppy and  didn't fancy cooking in the tent.

I emailed the site and the said there was no charge. I think its best contacting the site as it varies from site to site
