We are in he market for a family tent this year. At the moment we are favouring the Vango Colorado 600, but would really like to see some family tents in the flesh before we purchase. Does anyone know of any tent displays in Central Scotland ?

Hiya,     Camping Ecosse have a big tent display and so do Outriggers - who will give you lots of help and advice.  I don't know if they're up yet so I would give them a ring before going.

Thanks for the info. I've now checked these companies details on-line. I have been to Camping Ecosse before when I bought a 3-man tent about 18 years ago, but it was at Ingliston then, not Tranent. I had assumed the company didn't exist any more. Their website doesn't appear to work, so I can't check what makes they stock. I had never heard of Outriggers before, but it looks interesting (and is fairly close to us). Unfortunately they do not appear to stock Vangos, but it would give us a chance to look at other makes. Thanks again.
