Hi Kaggy and welcome to UKCS a most addictive website. If you go camping and get a electric hook up, get yourself a cheap electric fan heater. For those times without Electrics something like a black cat heater is great. Black cat heater does not have a flame so is safer, but remember you are burining gas in a confined space so you have to be careful due to the fumes.
